For the film "Tsoi", I composed an original soundtrack that deeply captures the atmosphere of the late 80s. The main musical theme became the emotional core of the film, enhancing the drama and revealing the internal conflicts of the characters.

I thoroughly studied the style and philosophy of the era to ensure the music sounded authentic. Close collaboration with the director and producer allowed me to create a soundtrack that seamlessly fits into the visual and narrative elements, highlighting key dramatic moments.

For the film, which combines elements of comedy and drama, a soundtrack was created that emphasizes both the irony and the drama of the events. The music not only supports the atmosphere but actively shapes it, conveying both strictness and absurdity through unique synthesizers and sounds. This approach helps to fully reveal the emotional depth of the film and enhance its distinctive contrast.

• Sound Design Creation
The sound design process focused on creating a contrast between the strict world of the characters and the absurd situations they face, highlighting both dramatic and ironic moments. Every sound texture was carefully crafted to harmonize with the visuals and amplify the overall atmosphere of the film.

• Session Musicians and Recording Process
To create a layered and live sound, professional session musicians were hired, and synthesizers were also used. I personally led and produced the recording process, ensuring the sound matched the film’s atmosphere. This blend of live instruments and electronic music added depth and dynamism to the soundtrack, highlighting the unique atmosphere of the film.
